One of the most famous images of the 1919 Cincinnati Reds World Championship season is the posed image of super-southpaws Dutch Ruether and Slim Sallee by Charles Conlon. The offered item was mounted to thick board and has some artistic enhancements for publication in Baseball Magazine but it not only bears the handwritten notes from Conlon on the back but the only FULL NAME signature from the rock star photographer we have ever seen! A large image in great shape, this is all things considered one of the best Conlon's we have ever had the pleasure of handling!
