Large and original 1918 photograph showing the pitching delivery of Walter Johnson, the greatest of all time! Issued by NEA, this is almost certainly a unique image and one we have never seen before. Brilliantly taken at the crescendo of his delivery, Johnson eyes the target in full uniform with nothing in the background to distract the eye save the outfield scoreboard. Some artistic tracing of the image done by the newspaper at the time and some mild wear are the only detractors. One of the largest action images of Johnson that exists!
