1969 Iconic photograph of Buzz Aldrin on the Lunar surface taken by Neil Armstrong. The reflections in his visor and the significance of the moment make this one of the most famous images from the Apollo 11 Mission ever taken. Completely original and stamped on the back with the date (1971), this is an exciting original that was even used as a display at the Houston Fine Arts Center years before these photos were coveted by collectors! A real treasure to collectors and an even more significant piece of American history! (NOTE; this is a completely original 1969 example of this photograph off the original negative. It is crystal clear and has several stamps on the back including a vintage Houston Chronicle 1971 stamp from when it was on display in a gallery. However, PSA now only authenticates these as "Type 1" if it has the purple NASA text on the back which this does not. NASA issued their photos in several ways and this one is as much a "Type 1" as any issued through the NASA press service but please keep this in mind when bidding.)
