Stunning large 1930 photograph of the National Air Races with Amelia Earhart and other early female racing pioneers posed with a director on the side of one of the planes! One of the better Earhart images we have ever offered, the only other example of this photo we have seen sold for $546 in our September 2013 auction. Condition is quite nice with a minor corner chip being the only real flaw. Reverse has two stamps from National Photograph & Adv. Co. as well as one from NEA and a full paper caption. One of the finer Earhart photographs we have ever offered!
