Extremely rare 1948 photograph of the man that was considered the best high school baseball player in America, Vic Janowicz of Elyria High School. He was such a good athlete, that many consider it his greatest flaw. Rather than focus on one sport, he split his time between baseball and football. He won the 1950 Heisman Trophy with Ohio State, but decided baseball was more to his liking. He made the major leagues, but did not achieve the status he wanted. In 1954 he went back to football and played a few seasons in the NFL before a car accident ended it all. A crazy story of what could have been, Janowicz is an underrated athlete and this is his greatest image ever taken! A rare image of a superstar in high school, this grades a perfect 10/10!
