Vic Hanson might have been the best athlete of his era, but unfortunately he is largely forgotten today. He was one of the best basketball players of the era, playing professionally in the ABL and is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. He was an All American football player and member of the College Football Hall of Fame as well. In his spare time, he was also one of the top amateur baseball players of the era, signing with the New York Yankees for a time. He is the only person in sports history that is a member of the basketball and college football Hall of Fames!
