1938 Photograph of baseball star Lou Gehrig on set during the filming of his Hollywood film "Rawhide." One of the first sports stars to go full Hollywood, Gehrig is all dressed up with a cigarette in his hand. An interesting image of the "Iron Horse" and one we have seen many times in publication but never in original form! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Photo has some light handling wear but overall it looks pretty nice.
