1926 Photograph of eleven members of the New York Giants in uniform and posing with a group of champion greyhounds during spring training. Led by Hall of Famers Ross Youngs, Travis Jackson, Fred Lindstrom and George Kelly, the image also captures star Heinie Groh whose estate this photograph comes from. Dated from March 1926, it is sad to think that Youngs would die the next year as he seemed so happy and full of life in this photograph. Groh had the front of the photograph laminated years ag (probably in the 1960's) and some of the lamination has nicely peeled off and the rest could be removed too but we have left it as is and it really just looks like a gelatin sheen on the photo and does not detract at all. This is a rare photograph that we have never seen before.
