1945 Official U.S. Navy photograph of Admiral Chester Nimitz signing the official surrender of Japan that would end WWII in the Pacific. Taken aboard the USS Missouri, this is an important piece of history that is seldom seen in original form. Both the condition and quality are outstanding and this is a smaller size, offered to soldiers through the military as a keepsake but few have survived. Completely off the original negative and original to 1945, the quality of the image is exceptional even in a smaller form.
