Original 1905 photograph of obscure 1896-1903 veteran Sport McAllister in uniform with the Detroit Tigers. He started his career in 1896 with the Cleveland Spiders and hung on with them through the 1899 season before shifting to the new American League in 1901 with the Tigers. From the scrapbook of teammate Matty McIntyre, this is a unique piece of baseball photography that is being offered here for the first time ever. As a bonus, on the back of the scrapbook page is another photo of four early ballplayers together (Robinson-Mitchell-Hurley-Quinlan).
