Incredible 1910 photograph of the Almendares ballpark in Cuba from the scrapbook of a member of the Philadelphia Athletics taken during their tour of Cuba. While the image of the outfield bleachers and a single player in uniform on the field are great, what makes this special is the context to some of the rarest baseball cards of all time. There is a HUGE advertisement on the outfield wall that reads "Fumen Cigarros Cabanas" which means "smoke Cabanas cigars". Cabanas of course was making rare baseball cards and issuing them with their product IN 1910 when this photo was taken! An incredible piece of early baseball card history that is a unique new discovery being offered here individually for the first time ever!
