Artistic 1972 large photograph of the great Yankee Stadium in the Bronx as it lay exactly how it was built fifty years earlier. If you notice in the pictures of it's opening in 1923, it was a large open dirt field with the stadium standing all alone. Now, the stadium is dwarfed by mammoth structures almost seeming to swallow up the baseball stadium in the name of progress. A really cool photo in great shape, issued by the United Press and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
