Lee Magee was a good baseball player and a really bad gambler. He was banished from Baseball in 1920 shortly before the Chicago Black Sox were also handed the same fate as Magee admitted to attempting to throw games on several occasions. The offered photograph of Magee is one of the last taken as he is seen during his last year with the Chicago Cubs. Issued by NEA and dated on the back, this is a gorgeous and large 10/10 that originally sold in 2014 for over $500!
