Rare 1909 silver gelatin photograph of Boston Red Sox pitcher Frank Arellanes. He is standing at bat at the ballpark and looking every bit the slugger! With a choked up grip he wasn't terrible, but he was not good either. On the mound however, he was an important part of the Red Sox staff, leading the entire American League in saves in 1909! Photo is in nice shape overall and he is a rare player to find an image of, with this being the best we have ever seen.
