Large 1925 photograph of early black boxing champion Harry Wills as he absolutely demolishes Charley Weinert and not only sends him to the mat, but does so with flare as poor Charley is completely airborne! One of the more powerful images of any fighter we have seen, but considering it captures the man most damaged by the color line in boxing, it is an especially poignant piece of American history! Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, the photo is in great shape.
