1912 Photograph of one of the "Titanic" lifeboats being pulled into the "Carpathia" after being rescued. These passengers had just spent the night in the freezing Atlantic Ocean and what they had experienced and witnessed would be one of the most incredible tales of all time. Still shaken up by the experience, this photograph was snapped off the side of the rescue ship before anyone on board knew what actually happened to the mighty ocean liner. One of the most incredible pieces of photography ever taken, this is a re-strike from the 1930's. This is only the second pre-war example of this photo we have ever seen and it presents here in pretty nice original condition with a little bit of creasing at the corners. A new discovery that is being offered here for the first time ever!
