1937 Touching photograph of aviator Amelia Earhart as she poses for photographers in the cockpit of her "Flying Laboratory" as she announces that she was all set for her flight around the world. While it seemed like a good idea at the time, this would be the trip that took her life in what is still one of the greatest mysteries in American history. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, this also has a really nice long and detailed paper caption on the back.
