Sweeping 1934 horizontal action photograph of the greatest baseball player of all time Babe Ruth as he takes his hacks at the All Star Game in Chicago. A clear and bold photograph off the original negative that we have never seen offered before, this is a c. 1947 re-strike still issued in the lifetime of Ruth and stamped on the back from Acme. Despite some staining at the bottom, the photo looks spectacular and is one of the better images of Ruth watching the flight of the ball we have seen.
