1932 Extremely early portrait photograph of Johnny Mize and taken years before he made the major leagues, as he toiled away with the Elmira Red Wings. While we have handled a few images of Mize with Rochester, shortly before making the big leagues, this is by far the earliest example of the Hall of Famer in uniform we have ever seen! The photo is clear and presents well with note to a crease on the upper right and some editorial painting and pinholes from publication. Date stamped on the back, this will get a Type 1 from PSA.
