1944 Large photograph of landing crafts hitting the beaches at Normandy just a few days after the bloody first wave as reinforcements arrive to push further inland toward Cherbourg. An official United States military photograph that presents beautifully and is the only example we have ever seen. The photo has some wear to the corners and edges including a little tape from a newspaper editor, but the image looks much better than the technical grade.
