Rare and early 1921 photograph of young Bob Meusel of the New York Yankees as he heads into the World Series. This was the first ever World Series for the Yankees! Portrait photo was taken by Charles Conlon and stamped on the back by him as well as containing his handwritten notes as well. This is the earliest photograph of Meusel we have ever seen and it presents in fine condition overall, grading a perfect 10/10. Note, the photo is a 1921 image and the 1926 file date was done later by a newspaper archive when the image was re-used for that World Series. The paper size and style used is consistent with Conlon's c. 1921 methods.
