1921 Large and dramatic action photograph from a play at the plate between the New York Giants and the New York Yankees during the third game of the World Series. The photo shows Hall of Famer George Kelly watching as his teammate Emil Meusel slides home. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, this presents well with note to some staining and wear to the upper left corner. This is the first time the Yankees would ever compete in a World Series!
