The 1922 New York Giants were John McGraw's powerhouse that would win the World Series for the second time in a row! Team photos of this era are rare and to find the champions is quite a gem! Led by Hall of Famers John McGraw and Hugh Jennings (on the coaching staff) and SIX Hall of Famers on the field, this was one of the most dominant teams of all time in the middle of one of the earliest baseball dynasties! Paper caption identifies each member of the team and this image is in pretty nice condition with some light chipping to the edges but none that affect the image portion. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, the photo is from the Underwood archives and also has two embossed file copy stamps as well.
