The 1930's was a decade littered with social revolution. The Nazi's in Germany and Fascists in italy were the most famous and prominent, but fascist sects popped up everywhere including the United States. Here the leader of the European group named Ian Dundass poses as a member of the Black Shirts, which was the equivelant of the Nazi Brown Shirts in their country. A rare image posed in full uniform, this is the only example of a British Black Shirt we have ever seen! A beautiful and rare photograph from the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well, the image is in great shape.
