1928 Photograph of the three catchers from the New York Yankees. Two were veterans that were members of the famed 1927 Murderers Row team (Pat Collins and Johnny Grabowksi) while the other was an inexperienced young rookie whose future was up in the air at the time. That rookie was Bill Dickey and he would become the greatest catcher of his era! A beautiful and bold image, issued by Underwood and Underwood with a nice stamp on the back, this is the earliest image of Dickey in uniform with the Yankees that you will ever find and the clarity is off the charts!
