Large c. 1915 batting photograph of Pittsburgh Pirates Hall of Famer Fred Clarke in uniform and showing that he was more than just a part-time player from late in his career. The photo captures Clarke in a head to toe batting pose and it bears the handwritten notes and signature of Charles Conlon on the back making it more than just a photograph, but an important piece of baseball history! Despite a small rip on the far right side, the image presents beautifully and it is one of the only images of Clarke taken by Conlon in the hobby!
