1914 Pre-Rookie photograph of Hall of Famer Billy Southworth when he was just a 20 year old kid trying to make a Major League Roster. He had gotten into 1 game late in 1913, but would be cut again in 1914. He was with the club long enough in Spring Training though to pose for this masterpiece from Louis Van Oeyen. While early setbacks plagued his career, he would overcome them to the tune of a fine career as a player and a Hall of Fame run as one of the greatest managers in Baseball History!
