1973 Important and beautiful full-color photograph by Caufield and Shook (the official photographers of the Kentucky Derby) and showing the famous race horse "Secretariat" coming around the final turn and heading down the stretch at the Kentucky Derby. The photo is linen backed and mounted into a photo-album by the photographer and presented to the track superintendent at Churchill Downs in 1973. The photo could easily be removed from the linen backing as we have done this to a few others from the album, which will reveal the important Kodak watermarks which will cement this as a Type 1 from PSA. We also have the original album cover and documentation if the buyer wishes to have photographs for provenance. This is the only full-color image of "Secretariat" at the turn we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever!
