Vintage 1964 oversized photograph from the Miami Beach’s 5th street gym in which a young Cassius Clay was visited by the British rock group "The Beatles." This was done by Brian Epstein to promote the band in America and it was reported that they first reached out to Sonny Liston who rejected the ide. The meeting was reportedly an awkward encounter, but the resulting images by Harry Benson have become iconic pieces of pop-culture history. The offered image is an oversized, double weight masterpiece of photography that is clearly vintage and silvered from age with a pencil signature of Benson on the lower right corner. There is a small spot of paper loss at the upper left and some handling wear from age, but overall it presents well. This is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen offered for sale and it is being presented here for the first time ever!
