c. 1899 Sweeping vintage photograph of Childs Glacier on the Copper River of Alaska and taken at the height of the Yukon gold rush. Identified on the corner as the work of famous photographer Eric A. Hegg and in nice shape overall, this is one of his greatest and largest images we have ever seen. He lost his studio negatives in his 1902 divorce which makes this one clearly identified as an early work of art.
