One of the most famous photographs of the Vietnam War era is without a doubt "Burst of Joy", showing the family of Lt. Col. Robert Stirm rushes to greet him at Travis Air Force Base. Taken by photographer Slava Veder and in great shape overall, this is a fantastic piece of photography that won the Pulitzer Prize despite some really tragic overtones hidden in the history of this work of art. The photo has been encapsulated by PSA (Type 3) and is one of the only completely original examples we have ever seen in the industry.
