Vintage January 9, 1964 photo of a South Vietnamese soldier using the end of a dagger to beat a farmer for allegedly supplying government troops with inaccurate information about the movement of Viet Cong guerrillas in a village west of Saigon. An important photograph, this is one of series that earned Horst Faas his first Pulitzer Prize . Issued by the Associated Press, this is only the second example of this photograph we have ever seen and it presents well in perfect condition.
