1944 Large photograph of American wounded soldiers being cared for on board boats just off the coast of Normandy following the first wave of invasion forces on D-Day! Condition and quality are both outstanding and this is one of the better images showing the aftermath of D-Day and showing the wounded soldiers that paid the ultimate price for freedom that we have ever handled. Stamped on the back by the military and in great shape!
