Midway through the 1933 season a Yankee legend was forced to retire. His name was not Ruth or Gehrig, but it was longtime batboy Eddie Bennett who had to call it quits over health concerns. Here (unidentified) is the NEW Yankee batboy in uniform and assuming his duties at the stadium that only knew of Bennett. The condition and quality are both fantastic and this is an incredible piece of history.
