Lot Description  

Large c. 1929 profile style photograph of Hall of Famer Lefty Grove from the World Champion Philadelphia Athletics. Issued by Underwood and Underwood with a stamp on the back, this is a silver gelatin masterpiece that is being offered directly from their archives. A nearly perfect work of art that could be hanging in a museum or gallery and is easily among his greatest photographs ever taken!
