c. 1929 Batting photograph of Sam Rice from the Washington Senators in uniform near the end of his illustrious career. One of the better players of his era, his numbers would indicate he has a high chance of making it to the Hall of Fame someday! Issued by the American League Service Bureau, this is likely an Underwood and Underwood photograph. The photo has a morgue stamp from 1934 but this is when the image was filed and it is almost certainly a 1929-30 photograph. A perfect 10/10 that is among his best we have ever offered.
