Dated October 1, 1924 letter on "Walter Johnson Testimonial" letterhead to Tom Taylor and inviting him to an event the next night (October 2) for a dinner to honor the baseball legend. It is interesting that the dinner took place two days before the start of the World Series which would be the crowning achievement in Johnson's career. An important letter in nice shape and offered here for the first time ever.
