1920 Vintage check written from the Chicago Cubs to D.T. Murray the Treasurer of Hillerich and Bradsby which the balance in a trade that was involved as the bat company would get a 1/4 page advertisement in the Cubs scorecards in exchange for the bats the Cubs were using in their season. The check is still attached to the stub and it has handwritten notes that clearly explain the trade! A great piece of history that illustrates a deal that nobody knew was on the Cubs books until now!
