1912 Head to toe batting photograph of New York Giants star Larry Doyle in uniform and posing at the ballpark. Issued by Brown Brothers (likely another photographer but issued through them) and stamped on the back, this is the photograph that was used to make his 1914 B18 Blanket baseball cards and as such is an important piece of sports memorabilia history! The photo has exceptional clarity and quality with a crease at left and some handling wear being the only issues. Photos used to make prewar baseball cards are extremely rare with this being one of only a handful we have ever seen from the B18 set!
