Lot Description  

Vintage c. 1910 vintage photograph from head to toe at the ballpark of popular prewar catcher Billy Sullivan in uniform with the White Sox. A stunning work of art from photographer Charles Conlon and stamped on the back, this is one of the greatest images of early baseball we have ever seen. There is some handling wear from publication and news room handling but overall it presents really well. From the estate of Billy Sullivan and the notes on the back are from his grandson.
