Vintage c. 1892 photograph of Lily Cleveland in uniform and posing in the studio of Buffham Brothers of Washington DC. She is wearing what appears to be an early baseball cap and uniform with her name handwritten across the front. While there is a chance this could be a non-baseball uniform, there were very few others sports women played at the time but more research is needed. The photo is in nice shape overall with note to some glue residue on the back from being mounted in a scrapbook.
