1889 Dated fold over brochure advertising the two stores of A.G. Spalding and Bros. in New York and Chicago. Issued to promote their recent endorsement by the L.A.W. Sundries, the booklet contains pictures of some products as well as an endorsement by the organization on the back. The key here is there are images of both early storefronts in New York and Chicago on the cover of the booklet which shows how both buildings looked at the genesis of their empire! This is a rarity we have never seen before and it presents in pretty nice shape for the age with fold lines as issued through the mail in 1889.
