1954 Large and famous photograph of Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle from the New York Yankees and posing during spring training. The photo was used for a famous baseball card in 1955 that was mailed by the Yankees to fans. This is the only certified Type 1 example we have ever seen and it bears the vintage stamp from the United Press on the back. The photo is clear and bold and grades a perfect 10/10 with note to some editorial marks from publication.
