Dated October 6, 1952 vintage photograph of the four men who had helped the Yankees win the sixth game of the World Series against the Dodgers. Of immense importance is the inclusion of young Mickey mantle who belted his first ever World Series home run in the win! One of the most important milestones in Mantle's storied career, this is his only image from this game we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever, fresh from a newspaper archive. There is some mild handling wear from editorial use but otherwise it presents really well.
