1936 Sweeping vintage action photograph of Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig as he crossed the plate after belting a home run in the World Series. Issued by NEA and stamped on the back, this actually a significant piece of photographic technology as well as it is among the earliest images transmitted by wire we know of in the industry! Wire photographs were not widely used until after the Hindenburg disaster in 1937 and this predates that event by a year!
