The 1926 meeting between Babe Ruth and little Johnny Sylvester is one of the greatest stories in sports history. Babe visited him in the hospital and promised him a home run, which he delivered on, lifting Sylvesters spirits and heling him heal. In 1947 when babe was ailing in a New York hospital, Sylvester returned the favor and visited Ruth, showing that life comes full circle. The offered two photo set from 1947 recalls the iconic moment in 1926 and the recent and rarer meeting between the two. The photos were issued by the Associated Press and offered here for the first time ever. Both photos show some wear from news room use but look great and they are being offered here for the first time ever from an archive.
