Beautiful 1922 photograph of Babe Ruth, the young superstar of the New York Yankees and posing in formal attire from head to toe at the entrance of a home. The image dates to the 1922 purchase of his Sudbury home in Massachusetts and it presents Ruth proudly standing in his doorway as if he was showing the world he had made it! Issued by the Keystone View Company and with their stamp on the back, this also carries a long handwritten note as well. This is a stunning image from early in Ruth's career and it is a work of art that we have only seen once before.
