1941 Stunning vintage photograph of the USS Shaw smoldering in Pearl Harbor on December 7th during the Japanese sneak attack on the United States naval base. One of the best images from the attack that exists, this is the only full sized example of this image we have ever seen and it comes with the important purple text on the back from the government that will solidify it as a Type 1 from PSA. The photo has some light handling wear at the edges from publication, but otherwise it presents well with crystal clarity! Offered here for the first time ever, from the archives of Underwood and Underwood.
