c. 1916 Extremely early vintage studio photograph of young Charlie Chaplin from Lone Star Studios and posing in his "Little Tramp" costume. A tremendous image that is easily among his best we have ever seen. The photo is on double weight paper and presents beautifully with not to a pinhole at the top and a few light spots of damage on the upper right corner area. There is scrapbook residue on the back but this can likely be removed. One of his earliest and best studio images we have ever handled and offered here for the first time ever!
