1921 Absolutely incredible photograph of magician Harry Houdini as he was suspend in air while he attempted to free himself from a straight-jacket. This was part of a Christmas fund event to raise money where Houdini was the main attraction of the event. One of Houdini's most incredible images we have ever seen, this was issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Offered here for the first time ever, directly from the archives of Underwood and Underwood, the photo exhibits exceptional clarity with note to some light handling wear from news room use. We have never seen this photograph offered for sale in any form before!
